Slingshot Fufills Free Course Materials for Pikes Peak Community College
Indianapolis - A new partnership with Pikes Peak Community College and Slingshot will make required course materials free for PPCC students this fall.
“We are grateful Slingshot was willing to quickly collaborate with us so we could provide our students with free textbooks. It is a pleasure working with a business partner that makes students as big a priority as we do,” says Lorelle Davies, Director of Auxiliary Services at Pikes Peak Community College.
On average, this partnership will save PPCC students $1,000 on their course materials. In addition, Slingshot will provide all of the required materials before the first day of class, ensuring students are ready for classes on day one.
"Partnering with Pikes Peak Community College to offer free course materials to their students aligns with our commitment of removing barriers to learning. Having the right materials before the first day of class at no additional cost will positively impact students,” said Josh Peters, President at Slingshot.
“Slingshot is excited to innovate together with Pikes Peak Community College to offer free course materials to their students. We both put the needs and success of the students first which made for a great fit”, said Kara Bunde-Dunn, Executive Vice President of Sales and Marketing at Slingshot.
